22 February 2017
Through school policies and practices, including our You Can Do It/Habits of Mind program, we work to develop an understanding of, and the development of skills in resilience. The need for this was driven home to me when I attended the funeral of a teenager who had been unable to cope with life's disappointments. His death had a profound impact on me in that I saw it as imperative that we, as a school, try to equip our students to cope with the ups and downs of life.

Thanks and regards, Frank Pelusey

World Day of Prayer Friday 3rd March 1.30pm
Please join us at Our Lady of Grace Church as our parish hosts our region’s prayer service for 2017. We will be joined by members of the neighbouring Anglican and Uniting churches, and would love to give them a wonderful experience. World Day of Prayer services will be celebrated on the same day around the world in over 170 countries by Christians of all traditions. Each year the world prays for a specific country; this year the focus is on The Philippines. Come and experience a taste of Filipino culture, while at the same time praying for this beautiful country. Fr Mark Baumgarten will be giving the reflection and the service will be followed by light refreshments including some tasty Filipino treats.
