ENROLMENTS FOR 2017: As we are now in the process of preparing for next year’s enrolments, it is now time to advise the office if you are leaving us at the end of this term (with the exception of Year 6). We do however require notification in writing and where your child/ren will be attending next year. Please hand your letters into the office as soon as possible. Thank you.
Please contact Pip Kent on 0439 091300 if you can help out.
It is imperative that once you place your online order, you check your “active orders" section to ensure that your order has been captured correctly. We are having increasing numbers of children coming to canteen without orders being placed. This is causing distress for the children.

Christmas Refugee Hamper Thank you
A heartfelt thank you to everyone that made this year’s Refugee Christmas hamper programme a success. To all those families and staff members that donated generous and thoughtful gifts, to those wonderful women that gave up their time to sort and wrap gifts to ensure everyone had a beautifully, presented hamper and to those families that delivered the hampers and spent time taking to the families, thank you everyone. Thank you also to Carla Christou and Rhonda MacNaughton for their support and assistance. As it is my last year at OLG, I am handing over the reins to Kylie Curedale, who will take over my role as co-ordinator.

Currently there is a lot of wastage at OLG. Click on the link to find out what we intend to do about it.
BOOK COVERING- Get ready for 2017 and order your library quality book covering through OLG. Please return your completed order form to the front office with full payment by this Friday 2 December. Delivery is the last week of term from the library. It is very high quality and the roll will last a couple of years. See Trish Sherlock in the library if you have any questions about the contact or if you would like to have a look at it. Great investment for the lower primary years. Thanks Carolyn Halleen 0413 591 810.
Lost property bin is now overflowing. Please take some time to go through the lost property box as Friday week is the day that uncollected clothing will go to the Uniform shop for resale and lunchboxes and accessories will be binned.

Message from Fr Patrick
Some people say that less is more. there is much wisdom in this saying. Our possessions can end up possessing us if we allow that to happen. Another saying is live simply so others can simply live. This prayer/poemj comes at a good time as Christmas approaches. Each of us needs to discover how we each can simplify our lives.

Perth Children’s Hospital Volunteers
Since 1929, the volunteer presence at Princess Margaret Hospital has been extremely important to the experience that our patients and families have during their time here. Their concern for people and their ability to create an atmosphere of friendliness and goodwill is invaluable. With the exciting move to Perth Children’s Hospital we are expanding the volunteer team and we are recruiting now for various roles. If you want to make a positive difference to the lives of children and their families who visit the hospital then we would like to hear from you. Please contact Andy Wahid, Coordinator Volunteer Services 08 9340 8716 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for further information.
Join us on January 9th till the 12th, 9.00am to 1.00pm each day
