KINDERGARTEN ENROLMENTS FOR 2018
Please contact Pip Kent on 0439 091300 if you can help out.
It is imperative that once you place your online order, you check your “active orders" section to ensure that your order has been captured correctly. We are having increasing numbers of children coming to canteen without orders being placed. This is causing distress for the children.
Congratulations to the students who received merit awards at last term's assembly.

When choosing a sponsor for your child please be aware that that person must be over the age of 16, must be a practising Catholic and must have been confirmed themselves. It is a good idea to choose one of your child's Godparents to be the sponsor. If your sponsor cannot be present on the day of confirmation then a parent can stand in as proxy. Message from Fr Patrick
I am one of those rare people who has never owned a pet. As a priest, a pet would limit my wish to serve you, a member of the People of God. I fully appreciate, however, how pets give us a taste of total acceptance that the good Lord also gives you. Leunig is wise here I think.

P & F News
***Attention Attention*** School APP is coming - Please read below.
As mentioned last week, the school APP is currently being trialled by a few parents and was rolled out to the teachers on Friday with the aim to fix any bugs and improve its functionality. Feedback thus far is very positive.
So what is this APP all about? Well I'm happy to say it's got nothing to do with Pokemon Go! The school APP allows communication on a one-way basis to those boxes you wish to receive notifications for. For instance, if you have children in 1B and 5G, then you would select those corresponding boxes to receive notifications for those classes only.
Class reps and teachers will be given access to add items to their applicable class.
When you load up the Calendar, you'll see items that are added against all of the boxes that you have chosen to view. The idea being you should only see items that are relevant to you.
The news feed will be used for items that are not date specific - the class rep or teacher can load up reminders or notices there.
More details will be provided over the coming weeks with instructions on how to download and register. Please start passing the word around.
